Flying Cargo Ship Event
A massive airborne cargo ship dominates the sky, packed with elite loot and deadly defenses. One of the most cinematic and dangerous events on Royal Rust.
What is the Flying Cargo Ship?
The Flying Cargo Ship Event spawns a gigantic cargo ship flying above the map. It is protected by heavy anti-air turrets and hostile NPCs, making direct boarding extremely dangerous without preparation.
How does it start?
When the event begins, players must locate a randomly chosen monument containing the Control Center. Inside, you can obtain the Air Card required to access the cargo ship’s lower deck.

- Anti-air turrets guarding the ship
- Hostile NPC defenders on board
- Control Center puzzle to disable defenses
- Restricted access until the Air Card is obtained
Rewards
Successfully boarding the Flying Cargo Ship grants access to high-tier crates, rare components, and large resource payouts. This event is a major progression boost when completed efficiently.
Tips & Warnings
- Do not approach the ship before disabling turrets
- Coordinate with your team — solo runs are risky
- Expect heavy resistance inside tight corridors
- Watch the skies and surrounding area for other players
